Importance of the language (tongue) has been understood in thousands of years and it has been put into practice. What about now?
We are dizzy with the speed of technology, but our tongue does not. We can no longer say, write, remember or even know words.
As we lost our language, we began to lose the kindness in our word, the elegance in our appearance, the grace in our attitude. That's why swearing, exaggeration and rudeness have increased in the media, social settings, movies, politics and our environment; Threats, violence, and indifference began to be deemed normal.

Let's examine the language. What is language (tongue)? Its lexical first meaning is the organ of speech in the mouth. Muscle tissue that helps us translate sounds into letters and words. Its second meaning is the tool by which biological species communicate within themselves. Because of this general point of view, the communication between animals, for example, is called language. But if we consider language specifically for people, we can say that it is a set of rules based on sounds and words that members of a community use to communicate among themselves. In other words, as the person progresses evolutionarily, language takes a more complex form.
Another meaning of language (dil) that not many people actually know is heart. It has passed from Persian to Turkish. We encounter various phrases such as dilber, dilara, dilbaz as nouns. We see that it is used frequently in Sufi literature. So language and heart are interconnected. In fact, when we talk about heart, we only understand the palm-sized organ in the chest cavity, and when we say heart, we understand the heart.
But is that so? When we say heart, we actually talk about the essence of love, the virtue of courage wand the ability to transform. So these are human attributes and are not related to the organ in our chest, but to the organ in our head a little bit, our brain. A little, because while the brain is a tool of cognitive activities, "the mind is the mechanism of that tool and does not produce value" (Metin Bobaroğlu). The brain is the sensor and processor of the data that will trigger "values" and the mind is the translator of the emerging "values" to us, to our language. When we look at this logically, it can be said that our brains shape us, form us. Here are our adjectives, they are our clothes, which are the designs of the brain fashion house.
Our language is one of our brain's means of expressing itself, the other being the hand. We built and destroyed, established and destroyed all our lives, history, civilizations, civilizations with the help of these two tools.
The more the brain / mind develops, the more the language develops. The more correct, beautiful and good the language, the more the brain is sufficient. Language is an indicator of the capacity of the human brain, the measure of his mind, the order of his mind, and the functioning of his intelligence. If the language is not correct, the brain is not working properly, in other words, the language is not correct because the brain is not working properly. In fact, they are in a cybernetic interaction with each other and are indicative of each other.
Even fixing one allows fixing the other. Try to correct your language, for example, as you learn to spell words correctly and obey grammar rules, you will also discipline your brain / mind and you will see an improvement over time.
Therefore, it is especially important for children to learn and use their mother tongue correctly. If he cannot control his language, he cannot control his brain, the unattended brain or its activities are also disrupted, the deeds he does, the frosts he cuts (ie the equipment), the clothes he puts on become ugly. Hate instead of love, change instead of transformation, cowardice instead of courage, violence instead of compassion, lust instead of chastity dominate emotions, words and behaviors. Especially if this becomes widespread in the whole society… That society collapses.
A story… In ancient times, they caught a thief and sentenced him to death. They asked her last wish, he said I want to see my mother, they brought her, he said, "Mom, open mouth and let me kiss your tongue". Mother did so. The boy bit and ripped off the tongue when his mother took it out. The executioners asked "why did you do this?" “If my mother had warned me when I stole the neighbor's egg as a child for the first time, if she had advised me, then I would not have stolen someone's apple, someone else's money, that gold or this ring, I wouldn't have been a thief and this wouldn't have happened to me”.

So can't language be manipulated? So is every good speaker who drips honey from his mouth good or is it true? Another story…
One upon a time, lived a man who spoke many languages. This man spoke all languages so perfectly that his fame reached the sultan. The sultan invited him to the palace, talked and he admired the man. But nobody could ever understand which is the native language of the man. Thereupon, the sultan organized a competition. Many artists and scholars came from that country and from neighboring countries, but whatever they tried did not work, they still could not find it. Finally, the chief vizier of the sultan, who watched all these processes, appeared on the stage. He stood looking in front of the seated man and only in his eyes, didn’t speak a word, the minutes passed like this, the people and the sultan got very curious and the man started to get angry. In the end, the head vizier got up from his seat, in the meantime he pressed hard on the callus of the man's foot and immediately began to apologize. But the man, already tired of waiting and annoyed by the silence of the grand vizier, also gave a dearly swear when he was pressed on his callus. Başvezir put the stone on its place and said, "This is your native language, what you spelled now."
“Even if a person whose words and heart are not one, he can have a hundred languages, but he is still considered to be mute,” said Mevlana. That is why the connection with the above language is important. The development and enhancement of the language is a good and correct thing, yes but not enough… We have an idiom that says “to be one in essence”. This is exactly what is required. This is called ingenuity, the one who completes both and matures both is called wise (arif).
In other words, no matter how much we manipulate, one day we will emerge somehow. Küfr means cover in Arabic. In other words, küfür ( swearing ) is also a dress, the fashion designer of the soul reaped from our guesses, selfishness and ambition. But while this dress seems glowing and colorful to those who do not know, to those who are blind. It is an absence, nudity for those who know and truly see, that makes everything clear ...
Therefore, while developing our social language (which is a must), let's enlarge our minds (and this is also the case), but let's not neglect the language we call heart. Because "language is a part of human character" (Bacon) and "the tongue of the wise is in his heart, and the tongue of the fool is in his mouth" (Hazrat Ali). Our social language develops with the knowledge of grammar, and our heart language with the knowledge of morality. When we begin to realize both together, our mind and conscience awaken, become enlightened, start to shine and "our mind is safe (flawless, sure), our heart is sincere (clean, benign)" (Metin Bobaroğlu).
